AASC qualifies and delivers tail rudder assembly

AASC delivered the first of 19 tail rudder assemblies from NGC. The tail rudder assembly is a sophisticated and precision bonded assembly of chem-milled faceskins, profiled honeycomb core, fiberglass and graphite laminates.


AASC completed and delivered our first EA6B Prowler rudder assemblies on 9 October 2002.

AASC won a contract to fabricate a total of 19 tail rudder assemblies from NGC. The tail rudder assembly is a sophisticated and precision bonded assembly of chem-milled faceskins, profiled honeycomb core, fiberglass and graphite laminates.

AASC used reverse engineering from an existing unit and modified and updated old tooling to modernize and update the rudder fabrication techniques.
