Dewey Shipley

Dewey Shipley, a loyal AASC employee, friend, and co-worker, passed away on September 3, 2009 at the age of 61. Born on February 18, 1948 in Stockton to Daisy and George Shipley, Dewey remained a life-long resident. He served his country honorably during the Vietnam War in the Navy.

Dewey enjoyed John Wayne movies, the Beach Boys, and was an avid fan of NASCAR and especially the RAIDERS. He also enjoyed talking about professional tennis with his mother-in-law Jean Travale. He enjoyed talking about his experiences in the Navy with his niece, Tiffany, and was looking forward to celebrating his son's 21st, birthday at "The Graduate". He is survived by his wife of 28 years Jean Shipley, his daughter and son-in-law Cynthia and Scott Geist of Stockton, son Joseph Shipley of Stockton and Marissa Schmidt, of Stockton, granddaughter Hailey Geist, half-sister Tammy Macias, and his beloved Boxer, Jake.

We will miss Dewey and all that he has done for our company. He will live on in our memories. Please keep our dear friend Dewey and his surviving family in your prayers.
