AASC Successfully Manufactures Antares Components!

Antares Fairings

AASC manufactures six composite structures for the Antares Launch Vehicle.  This consists of Payload Fairings, Fairing Adapter, Motor Adapter, Interstage, Payload Adapter, and an Avionics Cylinder.

AASC will fabricate all components in our state-of-the-art, 271,000 square foot, Stockton facility.


AASC has successfully delivered four ship sets of all six structural components for the Antares Launch Vehicle to Orbital Sciences for integration in support of the COTS launch later this year.

Antares is a two-stage launch vehicle designed to provide responsive, low-cost, and reliable access to space for medium-class payloads weighing up to 11,000 lbs. Orbital’s proven launch technologies, along with hardware from one of the world’s leading launch vehicle integrators, AASC is able to provide cost-effective composite structures to compliment the Antares program.
