By October 8, 20242024

Stockton, CA – October 2024 – Applied Aerospace Structures Corporation (AASC) is pleased to announce that, as of October 1, 2024, it has acquired key assets of Innovative Composite Engineering (ICE), based in White Salmon, WA.

This acquisition brings together two companies with a shared dedication to delivering high-quality, best-value products and services to their customers. While AASC and ICE both serve many of the same clients, they specialize in different areas, making this partnership a natural fit for expanding the range of solutions available to customers.

ICE to Operate as a Subsidiary of AASC

ICE will continue to operate under its current name, keeping its employees and facilities in place. It will remain a leader in producing structural composite tubes and tube assemblies for aerospace applications, as well as composite solutions for commercial use.

AASC will continue to provide our customers with our decades-long heritage and capabilities in the fabrication of complex composite and metallic bonded assemblies with a focus on Space, Launch, Air, Land, and Sea markets for both defense and commercial applications.

“We are excited to bring together two of the most trusted names in the composites market to offer even better solutions to our customers,” said Kevin Bidlack, CEO of AASC. “With our combined heritage, proven track record of quality, and the trust we’ve built through our partnerships, we’re confident this union will strengthen our ability to serve and excel.”
