Our manufacturing facility assembles complex parts to add to our customers impressive structures and support their manufacturing needs.

Are you looking to launch your career in aerospace manufacturing and operations? AASC is currently hiring for multiple entry-level positions across various departments. These roles are a part of a union and offer the opportunity to learn and grow within a supportive team environment while contributing to the production of cutting-edge aerospace components.

Our facility operates three different shifts, all three shifts operate Monday-Friday.

  • First shift operates 7:30am-4:00pm

The General Production Laborer (Technician) role involves the hand assembly and construction of various components, ensuring high-quality standards are met. The technician will work in accordance with provided work instructions, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise guidelines.

Responsibilities:
· Hand assemble parts following detailed work instructions and technical diagrams
· Ensure strict adherence to quality specifications throughout the assembly process
· Inspect finished parts for defects and report any issues or deviations
· Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to resolve problems
· Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery required for assembly
· Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assembly processes, work completed, and any deviations encountered
· Follow all safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations

Requirements:
· Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical diagrams
· Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision
· Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
· Willingness to join and comply with union rules and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:
· Prior experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and Mylar’s

The salary range for this role is $18.00 to $19.00 hourly. This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this open role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
