The primary job function and essential duties are to supervise production technicians to achieve the efficient use of labor and the maintenance of product quality. Supervisors direct production technicians including daily assignments, meetings, discipline, training, vacation scheduling and time and attendance system accuracy. They works with Program Managers, Manufacturing Engineers and Production Planners to ensure that production schedules and quality standards are maintained. Supervisors are responsible for work area safety issues and housekeeping. They help maximize labor efficiency and productivity. Applicants must have a strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and team orientation. They also must possess good computer and communication skills along with strong supervisory skills.
