Journeylevel Maintenance Electrician

Job functions and essential job duties of a Journeylevel Maintenance Electrician include but are not limited to, ensure the integrity & reliability of the plant electrical infrastructure and ensures the integrity & reliability of the plant’s process automation systems.

Applicants must be able to read and understand drawings, planning, and specifications. Possess controls, PLC’s TC’S, motor control centers, AC/DC drives, VFD’s, wiring & troubleshooting machine control/cabinets, electronics, 3ph equipment, and computer trouble shooting and repair skills. Must be able to use electronic measuring instruments and equipment. Ability to understand, install, and use primary electrical power (12v to 480v) and machine control circuits. Possess a working knowledge of CAL OSHA safety requirements, UBC, UMC, UPC, and NEC. Applicants must have 5 years or more of industrial factory experience.
